We are not fulfilling our promise as human beings of consciousness.
In order for Spirit to help us remediate these situations of tragedy, catastrophe and suffering, we must be able to change our hearts and minds. How can we do that from a vacuum? From an arrogant place of not wishing to engage with thinking that we know? It just doesn’t work that way. I dare you to read a good source of media and then read a few more. Look at different points of you. It’ll be hard... it’ll make you process... it’ll fill you with angst anxiety, fear, frustration, anger, maybe all the above. You’ll also read about the courageous people who are trying to help and change things and fight for what they believe in and those that are trying to be the diplomats. But as long as we try looking at our world through rose colored glasses or through no glasses at all, through blindness, we are not for fulfilling our promise as human beings.

MEDICINE FOR A HEAVY HEART. Hi Wisdom Seekers!
Sometimes it feels so heavy. Life just piles on and we watch people we love succumb to the flows of their own suffering. Sometimes they will point their ire or fear at us, and it can fill us with helplessness, or cause us to fight back in many different ways. Sometimes it just gets us. And sometimes we might be the ones throwing our heavy hearts at others. How do we find a measure of release in the midst of all this so we can speak truth with kindness, assertiveness and hold a container of love and knowing. How do we them, or our own selves, know that there is still a choice, even a sliver of choice, to come out of this darkness. When I have a heavy heart, I come to my ancient oak tree that lives in a glen along a trail, shaded and protected by a giant rock wall. She is my medicine, her survival over hundreds of years, how she has created such sacred space in her beingness. This is a place for standing strong and gentle in the shadowland. She inspires me; I hope to inspire you. It’s okay to have a heavy heart. Today, I share about stillness, and what comes from stillness. How still can you become to truly listen? Are you allowing yourself to deep receive life's gifts? In stillness, miracles happen. We suddenly have the ability to see the unseen, of the realms of Spirit, the luminous beings.
Join me today in tuning in for this call for stillness. Anxiety involves feelings of worry, fear, and apprehension that have cognitive, emotional, and physical effects. It can lead to negative thoughts and cause people to feel out of control. It can also lead to somatic sensations, such as sweating, trembling, or shortness of breath.
These symptoms are common for people who have been diagnosed with an anxiety disorder. However, they can also affect anyone to varying degrees at different times. Fortunately, there are effective strategies that you can utilize to help cope with anxiety in both the short and long term. Join me today as we discuss some of the strategies that may be helpful for coping with anxiety including breathing exercises and mind-body connecting. |
