ENERGY | WE ARE THE TRUE VESSELS OF THE NEW AGE. Energy. Swirling, flowing, emanating, within and without. Energy connects us to all that exists, as everything is made of energy. When it becomes trapped in the body, held by contractions of emotions and mind, stress holds, fear pulls in.

Breath releases the blocked energy to find its way out. Have you noticed how difficult it is to take a breath sometimes? How much resistance there is to move the body? We end up in a holding pattern, sometimes for years, for a lifetime. It can feel extremely dangerous to breathe, to move and release the energy. Feelings and thoughts of stuckness are usually things we try to shift by behavior changes, but without releasing the energy that is attached to the thought forms, the fixes are temporary.

Take a breath and see thoughts and feelings become uncoupled and start to move. Things can change in an instant. It’s beautiful. The stuck energy transforms as it’s released, bursting into colors and swirls as it’s freed. And we, in growing consciousness and awareness, become able to perceive energy emanations all around us.

​The body is always growing, always changing. We are in a constant state of spontaneous adaptation. Yet, we don't think of it this way or even feel this. Why? Well, too often we are too stuck in our own stories, our own routines and daily habits. Today, take a brand new breath with me. Take this moment to view this moment as something that has never been lived before. Take a chance on life. Never forget that your yes is so powerful. Put your cards on the table and dare to be vulnerable. Yes is the most powerful word in the world.

Exhaustion. Emptiness. A feeling like a swamp draining. We push against its seductive entrapment and do our best to stay present and show up in the world with some version of ourselves that is acceptable. It is an act of courage often to walk out into the sunlight of other people’s expectations, or what we think they are expecting of us. But so often, the real beauty of who we are is lurking in those shadowy areas that we don’t want to or are afraid to show the world. And then the exhaustion comes from the constant work it takes to keep pushing our acceptable stories.

​A true spiritual path is one that leads us to lift the curtain that separates who we think we need to be and who we actually are. When that begins to happen, there is an emerging connection with Creation. Then the true act of courage is to fill that entire reality with an embrace and to receive our own Spirit self.
