​For so long we humans have looked outside ourselves for those who can fix what’s wrong with us emotionally and spiritually. In the seeking we miss the most important aspect of true healing and that is the awakening of our own latent healing capacities. No one can really fix us. A true healer is one who helps us awaken those streams of energy within us that can release that which is not serving us and to become responsible to our healing gifts.

​Hello, friends! For those who missed my last week's Wisdom Wednesday... We talked all about the complex and beautiful energy of our deep emotions.

Connection to our emotional bodies are taken away from us almost at birth, being comforted or distracted from our tears and fears and anger.  Emotions and emotional displays are wrong, and we will do anything we can to make ourselves “ok” and not have the feelings. This conditioning is counter to life itself.  The suppression shows up in all kinds of ways, especially our escapism. Let’s relook at the passions and beauty that hide within the emotional body.

Whatever your age, it’s crucial to expand consciousness and fully open to the great potential of eldership.

Some years ago I was prompted by Spirit to be a mentor for people who are my own age. I didn't realize at the time how urgent it was for us Elders to answer the call of "Eldership," where we embrace and activate and share truth. It has taken a lifetime to get ready for this birthing to be ready. Whatever your age, it's crucial to expand consciousness and fully open to the great potential of Eldership.

When I got a hit to talk about prayer, I immediately felt completely incompetent and ignorant. But of course it was a yes and a curiosity about what might come in. To pray means first aligning with God, and to do that means engaging in the heart search for what God is to each one of us. Prayer is not about asking to be out of pain, but rather to be with the pain as a teacher, as a guide to our own evolvement.
