There's an evolutionary step that must be taken now in our understanding of all things spiritual. As so many of our religious concepts break down, there is a pull many of us feel to find a true connection to creation. Here we take a look at the work of spiritual evolvement and the unrelenting call in our hearts to know who we are in relationship to Spirit. This offering is a description of my work and the need to clear old emotional damage and blocked energies that stand in the way of expanding consciousness and a unique experience of life and Spirit. We meditate together to open to and meet this ultimate intelligence, that source of love that awakens our hearts and ultimately infuses our lives.

The spirituality of environmentalism is discovering the great heartbeat of the Earth as our own.
Here we address something very big, very serious and very beautiful – the spirituality of environmentalism. Right now as we face catastrophic changes to the Earth’s environment, we are also finding ourselves spinning quickly out of old paradigms and into new ways of thinking, feeling, being. We have a sudden and immediate need to rethink our relationship to all things of the earth, of spirit, of the mind, of energy. Together with Marina Qutab, the Eco Goddess www.youtube.com/EcoGoddess, we explore the evolutionary ways we can see our planet home as a being in its own right, with a great heart that beats in sync with all of creation, with God’s heart. A deep bow of gratitude to Marina. She represents a new generation which is tasked with solving the many riddles of the human-Earth relationship. The sheer exhilaration and joy of experiencing life is something babies know. Innocent and excited about getting from one place to another they begin to use their bodies and feel the flows of life moving them.
Sadly, early on we are taught to stop moving with this natural love of engagement and begin to enter a muted, black and white world of trying, accomplishing, acquiring, competing. We are taught to be aspirational, always trying to get better, to accomplish things, by a culture that covets and worships competition. It grows humans who are separated from their spirits and their creativity. And most important, we become lost in a prison of self-centeredness that tells us the only way out is to keep focusing on ourselves, getting what we can, trying to be perfect. What we lose is knowing that we are meant to dance only for the pure sake of dancing, and when we do that we light up our world. When we rejoice in others finding their expressions, we, ourselves, are uplifted and inspired. When we move to the rhythms that are true to us, when we raise our children, and help each other, to find these true rhythms, we are in a field of light, where all kinds of energies have the room and space to join us. We enjoy a love of learning and creating, rather than an ego need to be found worthy by others. An open heart will create a new future. We are asked in a thousand ways right now to open our hearts to new ways of being. But what does it mean? We are becoming painfully aware that many of our existing ways of being aren't working anymore. Like old trees, they are becoming fossilized - beautiful in their way - but brittle, hard and turning into stone. An open heart is an empowered heart that faces into the future without holding onto the past. It rides on streams of conscious presence and gratitude and knows itself as an emanation of the divine. Join me as we open our hearts together and call in the new.
